This database comprises 12 months of data for roughly 2000 tickers. Download and run to install. Please be aware that it will replace any existing price data. In other words, don't install this sample data if you already have Freecharts running with your own database.
Community Manual
This comprehensive manual was assembled by Neil McPhee, and consists of masses of information culled from postings to the FCPro mailing list in addition to a great deal of original material. A huge effort.
Title and Sector files
This file contains descriptive titles for UK, US, ASX (Australia), Toronto, NZSE (New Zealand), BVL-30 (Portugal) and IBEX-35 (Spain). Extract it and import the relevant file into FCharts. The sector files are for the PRO version, where you can do top-down searches and comparisons.
System Requirements:
Visual Basic 6 runtimes (included in the installer)
Any version of Windows, right back to Win 95. (e.g. Win95, Win98, Win2K, XP, Vista, etc)
Hardware: if you're running Windows, you can run my programs.
Vista users should read these additional comments.
Linux users: This app installs and run under Wine, at least on Ubuntu 7.10
